Alexis and Steve's wedding is forever in my heart. Like, FOR EV VERRR. I knew the moment I met them for coffee this summer that I wanted to be their friend. These two are the kindest, funniest, cutest and hardest working people you'll ever meet. Alexis and her mom seriously worked SO HARD on some of the "DIY" elements for this wedding and they made all the difference. They made HUNDREDS of candles from old wine bottles, it was lovely.
The wedding was on a snowy day in mid-October. We all woke up to 5 inches of fresh snow and I thought about how if any couple would laugh this off and love every second it was these two. Alexis wanted a colorful bouquet that reflected the season, and loves texture and 'natural' elements. All flowers are natural, but things like sticks, seed pods, and berries bring a totally unexpected element. For our tables ridiculously lush garlands set the stage, I could have worn one of these as a boa, so soft, so flowy. :)
One of my favorite parts about this wedding was how genuinely excited these two were for EVERYTHING. I mean, just look below for the moment they were introduced as Husband and Wife at the church.
Alexis, you're a vision, Steve, you're hilarious- thank you for believing in us and trusting us totally and completely. Love.
I'll leave you with the images and let them do the talking. Cory Weber shot these, and as always, they turned out beautifully. Enjoy my friends.
