There are not words in my vocabulary that I believe can properly describe Tuscany. The cypress trees, the olive branches, the scent of lemon that seems to just blow in the breeze. I've been fortunate enough to have spent considerable time in Italy, but Tuscany will always be my favorite part of it. The wine, the food, the people and the energy is unmatchable, and thats why I've decided to host a floral retreat there.
When I pitched the idea to Jennifer from BLOOM Floral Design, she was immediately on board, the ideas were pouring onto the page, and thanks to plenty of French press coffee & days spent sorting out the details this is really happening.
We knew immediately we wanted Sheila from Tableau Events to help us turn our vision into a logo and design scheme to share with you what we dreaming of for Italy. And for Cory Weber from Cory Weber Photography to be there to document every special moment.
It's my pleasure to bring to you Quaintrelle.... see you there my friends.

There are a LOT of retreats/workshops out there, but what makes Quaintrelle different?
We aren’t jamming this all in - With just two scheduled sessions a day, you are free to explore, hike, journal, work, sleep and honor your time away. We'll meet to get our flower on in the morning and late afternoon. We want this to feel like a vacation for you, so rent that vespa, have an extra glass of wine & a nap after lunch, work on that project that has been nagging you, whatever will make you feel best. Do it.
It's capped at 14 attendees- you’ll get the personal attention and creative support you are craving. Its as much about the woman behind the flowers as it is the flowers. No competition here, come as you are, with your work showcasing YOU, you’ll be supported and instructed on the art form you’ve created. You don't have to be a florist to get the most from Quaintrelle. You just need to want to get away, explore your creativity, find a quiet space & play with flowers.
It’s remote. The farm is an hour outside of Florence, it’s quintessential Italian country living, quiet, natural & organic. It’s affordable. We’ve worked hard to make this event special, intimate & attainable. With no TV and no wi-fi in your room, you'll find a silence you've been craving in the daily bustle of your life.
You're being taught by someone with teaching experience. Jennifer holds an advanced degree in teaching and is there to help you every step of the way.
It's an experience. Quaintrelle is about the experience. It's about celebrating a shared love we all have of travel, flowers and creating. You'll leave this magical place with new connections from around the globe & a supportive tribe of women who love flowers & life in general.
It's all inclusive. Once we meet you at the Florence train station on October 17th you can essentially just tuck your wallet away and forget about it. Everything you need is taken care of with your registration. Let us treat you for the week.
If you've read this far, we know you have a few remaining questions, you can find those answers, along with pricing below. Still have questions you need answered? Reach out to us. We'd love to chat via email, the phone or meet in person to discuss you joining us this fall. Flower on ladies.
